Emergency Surgery on Hand | swatches's Blog
|
The Doctors had to do emergecy surgery on my hand yesterday morning. It was so swollen, and Blue that I could not move my fingers at all. My fiance took me out to the hospital, and they x-rayed it, and took me into surgery, at 9:00 yesrterday morning, and I was back home by 6:00 last night. The surgery lasted 5 hours. They had to cut over the old scar, and go in about 2 inches deep, in order to get ahold of the tumors. It turns out there was one tumor and one Blood Clot in my hand. They removed the blood clot also. It was a very tricky and dangerous surgery, because of all the blood clots that I have. It is very swollen and hurting today, but at least I can move my fingers a little bit today. Have to wear the bandage for 6 weeks, ad a splint for 3 months to get it healed up. The doctors said my hand would be healed up by June in time for the Wedding. I hope they are right. I was a little scared, but came through the surgery just fine. I am on high potent pain pills that I have to take every 4 hours. This Blog Entry's Comment Board There are no comments on this post yet, be the first to leave one!
